ETA Terrorists and Left-wing Republicans in Spain

The so-called Ibarretxe Plan has been recently approved by the Basque Parliament. ETA terrorists support the Plan for independence from France and Spain. Bad news. It means the future disintegration of these two large (in European terms) and important countries, if politicians do not stop it. The problem is that the Spanish Government is very, very weak (Basque politicians know it) while French ones simply ignore the problem. On the other side, another emerging problem is called Carod-Rovira, the Catalan nationalist, left-wing Republican and member of the Spanish Government!!. It is amazing to realize that the Spanish Prime Minister, Rodríguez Zapatero, must always obey these eight Catalan left-wing Republican deputies, whose leader is Carod-Rovira. Without the support of these Catalan deputies, general elections must be announced in Spain, as the Socialist Party has no majority at the Congress. 2005 will be critical. A very important year for our dear fatherland called Spain.
